In this week’s msmobiles podcast, Edward, Mickey, Chris, and I discussed how Edward missed going to Mobile World Congress due to losing his passport. We talked about the changes to the concept of Windows Mobile, and the possible change by Microsoft to a simplified “Windows phone,” and the anticipation of Windows Mobile 6.5 had us pondering availability.

Applications we discussed included Recite and Google. You can view/edit Google docs from your Windows Mobile device, but it’s not 100% reliable at this point. (For example, adding a line from my Treo 800w somehow removed all the hyperlinks from the entire document!) Edward is still unhappy about calling PocketGear’s offering an App Store.
