DirecTV has made it easier to find and record a tv show from your cell phone than from your television. I'm sure the original intent of this app was for those moments you find yourself away from the tv and suddenly remember you forgot to set something to record. But they've given us something so much better! As you can see from the above screen shots, the DirecTV app for iPhone and the one for WebOS are very similar. The same settings, lighting. Only point and shoot. No attempt at focus. I tried to hold the 4 devices in as close to the same position as possible while still just fitting the subject in the frame. Hold your mouse over each photo to see which device took which photo: iPhone, Pre, HTC Diamond 2, HTC Touch Pro 2. I want to hear your opinions on the photos. The only comments I’ll make are that the Diamond 2, with its 5 megapixel camera took much longer to “develop” the photo than did the other 3 devices.
