Convertcast - Episode 47 The Love of Tech - Episode 3 July 10, 2010 Apple Mystique - What is it? Why is it important to marketing of Apple products? Has it been tarnished with initial iPhone 4 problems? Has it! Consumer Reports: We reached this conclusion after testing all three of our iPhone 4s (purchased at three separate retailers in the New York area) in the controlled environment of CU’s radio frequency (RF) isolation chamber. In this room, which is impervious to outside radio signals, our test engineers connected the phones to our base-station emulator, a device that simulates carrier...

TaKePhOnE on your iPhone

Posted by: Alli Flowers    Tags:  application, apps, dialer, iPhone, Palm, phone, shsh, TaKePhOnE, Treo    Posted date:  October 25, 2009  |  One Comment

I get very excited when I see one of my favorite developers bringing a favorite app from my Palm days to the iPhone. So I was, of course, thrilled when I got the newsletter from shsh software back in June mentioning the iPhone version of TaKePhOnE. I spoke briefly to Shimon Shnitzer, the developer, who told me that he’d run into some issues with os 3.0 and was working on an update. Being the devoted fan I am, I made the purchase anyway and sat back to wait. The update finally came on my birthday (and I’m sure it was intentional!). If you are a former Palm Treo type, then you probably don’t...

iFavorites for iPhone

It allows you to have several pages of favorites organized by category, and (providing you want to), you get to see your contact photos right on the favorites screen. The thing that makes...

It is with great pleasure that Just Another Geek Site welcomes Mobile Tech Addicts to the forums. MTA is a great mobility focused site based in the UK and run by Chris Oldroyd, one of my msmobiles podcast co-hosts. MTA has been around for a while and is tops in news, so I encourage all to check their regularly to see what's going on in the tech world. His topics are varied, and should provide lots of new and exciting material for discussion in the forums. Chris and his MTA podcast co-host Gareth Myles will be acting as forum moderators, so don't forget to say hello to them. And if you have any ideas...
