I get very excited when I see one of my favorite developers bringing a favorite app from my Palm days to the iPhone. So I was, of course, thrilled when I got the newsletter from shsh software back in June mentioning the iPhone version of TaKePhOnE. Since I started using Windows Mobile on my Treo 800w (which I still love, btw!) my major complaint has been the lack of decent full screen photo caller id, and lousy contact photo dial. But thanks to my vigilance in following the Treo Central forums, I found the answer to my wishes. For an application that is, in all honesty, purely cosmetic, I felt that $29.99 was rather steep.
