Apple makes taking a simple screen capture so easy: just press the power and home buttons simultaneously, and you're done. But recording a video screen capture has proved to be more of a challenge. Sure, you can do it from the emulator, but until now the only way to do it from your iOS device was via a jailbreak. Not anymore! Display Recorder is finally available from iTunes for only $1.99. Chopsticks Culture is a new educational iPhone app. Its focus is Chinese cuisine, and the language that surrounds it. The concept is great: photos of authentic dishes, and their names in both Mandarin and Cantonese. You get a transliteration, the Chinese spelling, and audio. Of course, you also get photos of each dish along with its name. There are four categories, entrée, drinks, main, and dessert. Inside each category, you find a variety of subcategories.
