What a neet title for a forum. I was telling one of the guys at my job about
the problem resco backup was giving me on my mogul, and I said something
about all the apps I have. Then I said, "I have to remember that one of the
primary functions is the phone!"

I had a similar conversation with a gentleman friend last night. He said "all I want is a phone I can...make phone calls with." without even thinking, I answered "there are no phones left that only do that."

Unless you want a phone that does more than just make phone calls. $1,000 for the Xperia? $850 for the Advantage? And you can buy a netbook for $300? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

Even my mother has a Treo 650 (cast off...), but the only reason she has it is to play a few games when she's waiting, say, at a doctor's office.  She makes maybe 4 calls a year on it.

I laugh because my wife used to hate phones and now she has a Centro and I even find her using the calendar feature on it. Now if you knew my wife you would see that is a big thing compared to just a year ago.

I got my brother and his wife hooked on Centros.  Today they got a Sprint Rumor for their son, newly 13.  He has asked me to locate free ringtones and wallpapers for his new phone - specifically that annoying mosquito buzz ringtone and a wallpaper of Stewie from "Family Guy"

I know nothing about the Rumor.  Can I MMS these things to him with my Centro?  And what format do they need to be in for him to be able to use them?

One way to find out if you can is to try. Worst case scenario - it won't work.

lizzrd, try www.dbringers.info  . The guy that runs the site is a great guy. His site is geared towards ringtones for sprint phones.
