• A judge has dismissed the Apple v Motorola case with prejudice.
• Speaking of court cases, e-book price fixing case scheduled for 2013 Apple, McMillan, Penguin. I’d like to see ebook prices fixed at around $2.00!
• Should one wait for Macbook Air with retina or buy new Macbook Air “Mid 2012”?

Google and Android

• All carriers in commercials present Galaxy S3 as the best smartphone in the world, as hook to attract customers
• Android 4.1 already available in early versions, what’s new in it? Right now it is all rumor and speculation, with some expecting it to only be 4.1 with enhancements and bug fixes, and others expecting it to be 5.0.
• Flipboard now available for all Android devices
• HTC now getting into the Siri clone arena
• Firefox will have “something new” for Android next week.

• WINDOWS PHONE 8 announced, 7.8, no update to 8. What’s new in WP8 etc , what’s new in wp8: 3 tile sizes not 2, contactless payment via NFC, deeper integration of skype
• Surface! (Bigger than an iPad, and possibly more expensive)
