While surfing for new and possibly interesting accessories, I came across bluelounge.com. They are positively packed with novelties. I couldn’t help but place an order.

The focus of my order was something called the Nest. The Nest holds any tablet in two positions: raised at a slight angle, and almost perpendicular.

I must admit, I was mostly captured by this little gadget because of the variety of colors available. I ordered a pink one. So far, I have not been disappointed, and am already considering getting a second one so that I can keep one on my desk at school, and one on my night table.

I’m much happier placing my iPad on the Nest, than flat on the table. The big advantage is, it’s easier to pick up. Of course, you don’t have to worry about scratching the back of your tablet either, cause the rim is soft and rubbery. It keeps your tablet safe from scratches, and won’t let it slide off.

Both viewing and typing are easier at the angle offered by the Nest, and watching videos or video chatting is ideal when your tablet is in the upright position.

The upright position is achieved by pulling out a little pocket from under the Nest that forms a stand. Your tablet leans back against the Nest in a perfect cradle.

You can see the drawer in the photo below. And whichever way you’re using the Nest, you can actually store things inside the nest part.

The Nest is ideal for all brands of tablets, and holds both the smallest 7″ tablets and e-readers and the larger 10″ tablets with ease.

The Nest is available exclusively from bluelounge.com for $14.95. Let me know which one you decide to get!
