swipe up to reveal the multitasking bar;  - WOOT!
swipe left or right between apps.
Stop the presses – Apple providing functionality choice?  The ability to select in settings what side switch does: 1) mute or orientation lock
Apple asking for feedback on these new features.
Is this another step in bringing a common UI element to both the iOS and MacOS?
