Another silicone case, this one $28.95 from Proporta. I did a review of Proporta’s SteriTouch silicone case for the iPhone 3G(S) a while back, and Proporta has updated this case for the iPhone 4.

Unlike the typical silicone cases which are monochrome, this one is black on the outside and pink on the inside. It’s also offered in black/green and black/grey. A nice ribbed texture on the sides insures your phone will not slip from your grasp. The back has some matching ribbing that gracefully flows from the sides, and a few other nice touches to make sure you’re always in control.

The sides completely cover your iPhone 4, and give you edge protection in case you set your  phone down glass first. The mute switch, headset jack, and docking area are all easily accessible. Of course, there is a cutout on the back for the camera. There is no access to the sim door, and both the power button and the volume buttons are covered. The power button depresses easily within the case. I am not a big fan of cases that cover the volume buttons – I would rather a little more exposure, than the kind of manipulation needed to get the case on well enough to fit the buttons into the recesses left for them.
