Debunking the iDon’t ad was horrible, but enjoyable none-the-less.

I will proudly confess, use a Palm Pre (which is great) I like the iPhone, but hate AT&T and I want my phone to be a phone, not an iTouch with a dialer that can’t be used. I own both PC’s and Macbook Pro.

Okay, to my point. The idea that the only “logical” argument for the interchangeable battery is that people are worried about 5 years down the road is absurd and not it touch with how users use mobile devices.

I had an instinct. I LOVED being able to have my phone charged and then I had a (very small) battery and case that I could use to switch out if need be. It’s funny b/c the instinct had pretty great battery life anyway, but for long trips or hours away from my desk or car, it was amazing. I don’t have this need as much with the Pre, b/c I use the touchstone and my phone just sits there charging and is usually juiced up all the time. But it does have similar battery life to an iPhone, and I do run out of power on occasion, which blows.

My iPhone friends run out of juice all the time, just in the regular work day, so the point for interchangeable is to not have to be tethered to your desk/car/home wherever, and still be able to use your device.
